The North Coast Spirit Fastpitch Softball Organization functions out of Ohio's Lorain County, a hotbed for girl's softball in the state. Currently the organization supports 6 travel teams in the 12U, 14U (2 teams), 16U (2 teams) and 18U age divisions. The teams participate in NSA, ASA, USSSA and Pony sanctioned tournaments, mostly in the state of Ohio, with a goal of qualifing for the national tournaments of these sanctioning bodies.

The goals of the organization are to provide young ladies with the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to be properly prepared for the rigors of collegiate and high school softball, experience team building and further develop individual character while enjoying the "game". All Directors, Managers and Coaches volunteer their services and receive no remuneration.. Private donations are solicited to reduce the amount of money an individual family would have to pay thereby providing many with an experience they may not otherwise be afforded. Any donations secured are used to help defray the cost of tournament entry fees, player uniforms, equipment, umpires, off-season practice and travel expenses.
